Beauty by Leanne operates by appointments only. We respect our clients and their time and kindly ask you to do the same by reviewing our policies and terms of service.

By booking a service, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following policies.

COVID-19 / SICK / TRAVELLING CLIENTS

Part of our job as beauty professionals is to ensure a safe working environment and refuse service if there is concern about infectious conditions. We understand this is a hard time for everyone and that you do not want to cancel or reschedule your appointment, however we must all respect the workplace, other clients, and the following:

— You must reschedule if you display any of the following symptoms (but not limited to): fever, coughing, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, headache, sneezing, diarrhea

You must also reschedule if you have been in contact with anyone who is sick or has travelled within the last 14 days.

— If you have travelled within or outside of Canada in the last 14 days, please self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days before making an appointment.

We have implemented COVID-19 Safety Protocols which all clients are made aware of and must adhere to before and during their appointments.


DEPOSITS & RESCHEDULING

Deposits are credited towards the appointment total. All deposits are non-refundable to prevent clients who are not serious about booking from holding dates. Please double-check your availability before making any bookings. If you are planning to get pregnant in the near future, it is best to NOT to book an appointment as the deposit is non-refundable.

Rescheduling for Permanent Brows:

- Allowed once only with a minimum of 5 days notice. After another deposit is required.
- Complimentary brow touch-ups rescheduled with less than 5 days notice will result in losing the complimentary session. An eyebrow deposit will be
required when rebooked.

Rescheduling of all OTHER appointments:
- Allowed up to once with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Fail to do so will result in a new deposit request.

Please note: Beauty by Leanne reserves the right to withhold any deposits paid in the event we are unable to perform or refuse treatment.

PREVIOUSLY TATTOOED / MICROBLADED BROWS

We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists' work. If you arrive for your appointment without having your previous eyebrow work pre-approved, this will result in forfeiture of your deposit. For assessment, please submit a few clear photos of your current brows to info@beautybyleanne.ca. Please mention the following key information in your email: month and year you had it done, type of procedure, and how many times you’ve had it done and allow up to 3 days for us to get back to you. If for any reason you schedule an appointment without pre-approval, your deposit will be forfeited.

All previous work will be charged at full prices and are subject to a correctional fee of $50-$100 depending on the severity of the case. Corrective work is more difficult and may take a couple of sessions to achieve desired results. Clients must have realistic expectations when working over previously tattooed work.


BROW TOUCH UPS

Semi-permanent brow touch-ups are for existing clients only. Touch-up appointments are calculated since your last paid appointment and does not include a complimentary touch-up.

If there is pre-existing work on the brows performed elsewhere, please submit a few clear photos of your eyebrows for pre-approval before booking. All previous work will be charged at full prices and are subject to a correctional fee of $50-$100 depending on the severity of the case. Pricing is subject to change at any time without notice.

CHANGE OF APPOINTMENT TYPE

If on the day of the appointment, a client wishes to switch to an appointment of lesser value than the original appointment booked, a change fee of $30 will be charged.

NO-SHOWS / MISSED APPOINTMENTS

No-shows and missed appointments impacts three parties in the following ways: you missing out on your scheduled service; we lose a couple hours of paid work; and other clients who could have received the service instead.

No-shows or missed appointments without notice will be subject to a charge of 50% of the booked service to cover some of the financial loss to us. If no credit card is on file, the payment will be required before any future bookings can be made.

Clients with one no-show appointments will be required to prepay for all future bookings.

Missed complimentary brow touch-up appointments will be charged an eyebrow deposit fee when rebooked.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please respect other client's time by arriving on time to avoid delaying other scheduled appointments.

A grace period is offered for 15 minutes only. If you arrive later than that, there will be a late fee of $30 charged OR the appointment will be cancelled resulting in the forfeiture of your deposit. Kindly notify the artist if you expect be late.

SICK CLIENTS

If you are sick or feeling sick, out of respect for us please cancel your appointment as soon as you know.We work very closely with clients. Instead of one client, several clients will have to reschedule their appointments if the artist becomes infected and ill.

It is crucial that you are not sick during your semi-permanent brow appointments to reduce the possibility of an infection and to ensure you heal optimally for best results.

If you show up sick, you will be refused service and the deposit will be forfeited.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the client's responsibility to follow all pre and post-care instructions for optimal healed results which are provided either on the website, by email, and/or written instructions.

It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure they are a suitable candidate for ALL SERVICES to ensure client safety and optimal results before booking an appointment. Please read the FAQ section for more information.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we deem not suitable for this procedure or for any other reason. We reserve the right to withhold any deposits paid, in the event we are unable to perform or refuse treatment.


ENVIRONMENT AND CLIENT CONDUCT

The treatment location is a place of relaxation for the client and focus for the artist. We kindly ask you to refrain from using your mobile phone and to keep on silent during your time with us. The use of profanity, aggressive and rude behaviour will not be tolerated. 

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

Additional guests, children and pets are not allowed to prevent cross-contamination and interruption. Exceptions can be made depending on the situation and with advance notice.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are not obligated but are most certainly welcomed and appreciated.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds for services rendered and products retailed.

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

To help clients keep track of their appointments, two email reminder and one text message reminder will be sent out to each service booked. It is your responsibility to ensure you have inputted the correct emails and cell numbers for these reminders.

PAYMENTS

Methods of payment accepted for the remaining balance on your appointment day are debit and credit card. HST is additional on all services. Cash is accepted however no change can be provided.
